The Liege Airport Group places great importance on the protection of personal data (hereinafter “Personal Data”) of users (hereinafter “Users”) of its Liege Airport and Liege Airport Academy websites (hereinafter the “Site”).

This policy (hereinafter the “Policy”) describes the cookies and other trackers used on the Site, their purposes, their retention periods, and how you can manage your consent. It also aims to inform you about how we, as the data controller, collect your Personal Data through cookies on our Site.

List of cookies related to third-party services (external integrations)

These cookies are set by external providers when we integrate their services (e.g., YouTube, Vimeo). They enable video playback, anti-bot protection (Cloudflare), and may also be used for their own measurement or profiling purposes—under their responsibility. Your consent is required before they are set.

Subject to your consent and your browser settings, certain third-party services integrated into our Site (such as YouTube or Vimeo) may set content personalization cookies. These cookies help tailor and improve your experience when using these external services.

These cookies personalize the User’s experience on the Site by remembering their preferences and, in particular, allow:

• the presentation of embedded content (e.g., video quality, language, or player display preferences) to be adapted to your device’s specifications;
• to remember settings related to the content viewed (such as player size or accessibility options);
• facilitate access to certain services or areas requiring authentication with the third-party provider;
• implement security measures, for example to verify that interactions with the service originate from your session.

When playing the video, data such as your IP address or browser information may be transmitted to YouTube/Vimeo and, if necessary, merged with existing data by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, which operates this service under its own responsibility, particularly regarding the settings for accepting or rejecting other cookies related to its own activities, over which Liege Airport has no control.
