airBaltic paves the way for passengers to return to Liege Airport

Heading to the Canary Islands

Two flagship destinations will be offered: Gran Canaria and Tenerife, with two flights per week to each. These routes address a concrete demand in the regional market for sunny destinations during the winter season.

This relaunch is part of a phased strategy aimed at repositioning Liege Airport as an accessible, efficient, and attractive airport for passengers, with a strategic location and strong cross-border potential.

For Léo Lugovic, Manager of Passenger Traffic Development, these new destinations will appeal to the people of Liège: "The launch of these passenger routes marks an important milestone for Liege Airport. We are responding to a real market demand for winter sun destinations, while capitalizing on our strengths: easy and seamless access, operational flexibility (24/7), and a human-scale airport."
